STOPFIRE FM, certified and efficient choice for fire protection at the Lares Power Plant

EFAFLU supplied a fire-fighting system manufactured in accordance with NFPA 20 and certified by FM (Factory Mutual) for a thermoelectric power station from EDP (Portuguese electric utility). The system supplied and commissioned by our team contained two fire pumps, driven by an electric motor and the second one with diesel engine, each of 250 kW. EFAFLU's experience in fire protection was decisive for the success of this highly important project.
