Aline from Grupo Recreativo Estrela do Bonfim reached the podium at the Lisbon Marathon on October 6th (and so did EFAFLU). Aline placed 2nd in the W45 category, completing the race with an excellent time of 3:23:22.

EFAFLU supported G.R.E. Bonfim, from Póvoa de Varzim, with a contribution towards the purchase of sports equipment. Founded in 1980, Grupo Recreativo Estrela do Bonfim aims to promote sports in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim. They currently participate in 7 disciplines: Athletics, Trail Running, Mountain Biking (BTT), Padel, Squash, Table Tennis, and Sisal Darts, organizing and taking part in various sporting events.

EFAFLU thus reinforces its commitment to our community, supporting local initiatives that promote a healthy lifestyle and the practice of sports.
