SIZING:

Sizing a lifting station should be done as follows:

• Pumps:
  • Determine rated flow for the network.
  • Determine total head (geometric height + dynamic and localized head losses).
  • Select pump type according to sewage nature (rainwater, grey or blackwaters).
• Lifting station reservoir:
  • Calculate the useful volume so that does not exceed the maximum limit of starts per hour for the selected pump.
  • Select the desired dimensions that comply with the defined useful volume.
  • Choose accessories compatible with the pumped fluid.
  • Choose required options (screenig basket, lifting chains, valve chamber, control panel, etc.).

• Collection and lifting of domestic and industrial sewage.
• Sewage lifting in single-family homes, population clusters, industrial areas, garages, and parking lots.
• Sewage pumping to Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP).
